The Odenwald lies between the rivers Neckar, Rhine and Main. The Odenwald is partly located in Bavaria, Hessen and Baden-Württemberg. The Bergstrasse region lies east of the Odenwald in the low mountain range. The Odenwald is particularly suitable for hiking. The marking of the hiking trails is perfect. The somewhat hilly low mountain range and the Hessian Bergstrasse have a varied landscape with meadows and pastures, mixed and coniferous forests as well as orchards and vineyards.
